There are parts of us that dream and want to be happy and perhaps find ?true love,? some may believe and think of this more than others. Not many actually think about bringing this feeling out more often, but those who do are happier and more successful when it comes to healthy relationships.
You too can become happier and fill your life with meaningful loving moments. You can start by paying attention to how your mind reacts to certain things ? this way you become your true self or the observer of your mind?s thoughts and reactions.
Instead of reacting like you used to, you take one step back and examine how your mind reacts. By being completely aware of this you will stop causing yourself and others pain which comes from overreacting, over-thinking and stress. For example: Someone made a comment about your shoes, ?Wow, those are ugly!? Your mind?s first reaction might be a feeling of embarrassment, which might follow with a want to counter-attack by making fun of the person back.
Here is the challenge: what you need to do is to try not to attach yourself to your initial reactions to things, but rather realize the fact that they are there, and that you are completely aware of them. Do not judge these first reactions, they are not bad or good, they are just there, you just make a choice not to be part of those reactions.
The person in you that realizes this is the true self. Now practice and learn how to bring your true self out more often in your daily life. The truth is, you can give yourself relationship advice for any situation. This true self is the one that has the ability to love.
